Sports Funding 2013-2014

At the beginning of September 2013, the Government allocated each school an amount of money to be spent on increasing the quality & breadth of PE & Sport provision, and increasing participation in PE & Sport.  The amount of Sports Premium funding each school received was determined by the number of children of primary age within the school.

The money comes into the school as two separate payments during the year.  As a school we receive a total of £9805.  The first payment is £6347.96 and the second payment is £3457.04.

At Templenewsam Halton Primary School we have welcomed this additional money, which we will use to further enhance our provision, support the continuing development of staff knowledge and to further develop our children’s passion and love for sport.

The following table demonstrates how we have spent the Sport’s funding monies in 2013-2014.
